A construction worker was killed in a fall at a Miami Beach building Monday, fire officials said.
The incident happened at a building near 21st Street and Washington Avenue.
Miami Beach Fire officials said a 35-year-old worker fell from the third floor to the second floor. He was also impaled by construction equipment when he fell, officials said.
He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition but later died. His name hasn't been released.
No other information was immediately known.
