Ocala Police investigating a man found dead inside his home ended up uncovering a sophisticated marijuana grow house.
Jesse Hampton Terrell said he came home to the house he shares with his father Friday afternoon and was unable to get inside. After unsuccessfully trying to reach his father on the phone, he forced his way through a window and found his 56-year-old father dead inside.
Police do not suspect foul play and are awaiting toxicology reports.
Once inside, the Ocala Star-Banner reports they were overpowered by the scent of marijuana and found dozens of marijuana plants, lights and a watering system.
Terrell was charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
