Fire rescue crews responded after a crane fell on its side near a Pompano Beach school Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. at Blanche Ely High School in the 1200 block of Northwest 6th Avenue.
Broward County Public Schools officials said workers were using the crane during construction work on a new building on campus when it fell over.
The incident happened before the start of school on an area of campus that isn't used by students or staff, officials said.
Footage appeared to show some damage to an area near the school, but officials have not released any information on exact damage to the property.
No injuries were reported and school remained in session Thursday.
