A 3-year-old girl who had been reported missing has been found safe, and police are now searching for the toddler's father.
According to Davie Police, Miracle Hardin was dropped off by her father, 22-year-old Justin Caldwell, at a relative's home on Thursday. The relatives called police immediately.
Investigators said the family has been very cooperative. Hardin is now in the custody of the state.
State officials had been going to the home for custody issues and performed a visit on Sunday but Caldwell and his daughter were nowhere to be found, which launched the search for Hardin, police said.
