A Pinellas County Sheriff's deputy is recovering after his vehicle was struck by a pickup truck during a traffic stop.
The Tampa Bay Times reports Cpl. Peter Doyle attempted to pull over a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon. The driver of the other vehicle made a left turn and Doyle followed in his marked Chevy Tahoe. He traveled into the path of the pickup truck.
Officials say Doyle was taken to a hospital, along with the driver and passenger in the pickup truck. None of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
