Miami Police detectives are searching for the man who allegedly robbed a discount store.
Officers said he walked into Cholo Power Discount located at 1104 West Flagler Street, just before 10:30 p.m. on July 9.
According to detectives, the suspect walked into the store, demanded money from the cash register all the while wielding what appeared to be a gun wrapped in a white towel.
The victim, who is the store employee, opened the cash register. The suspect then grabbed the money inside the drawer and took off.
The victim was not hurt.
The suspect was described as a black man, 40-50 years of age, approximately 5'05" with short hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, white T-shirt and blue and white shorts.
