Miami Fashion Week kicks-off Wednesday. While other major fashion capitals like Milan and New York focus on seasonal collections, MIAFW highlights emerging local and international designers and showcases their 2019 Resort Cruise Collections.
MIAFW, the second largest fashion event in the U.S., is announcing their participation with global fashion brand, Roberto Cavalli, who will be presenting a special curated luxury collection.
Cavalli’s collection is meant to embody the modern design of beauty and sensuality, bringing a fresh perspective on glamour. The new collection will be shown at the benefit gala, where a special evening gown will be auctioned from his 2005 collection.
All proceeds from the auction will go to support Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation and Antonio Banderas’ foundation ‘Fundación Lágrimas y Favores’.
Designers including Oscar Carvallo, Ágatha Ruiz De la Prada, Ángel Sánchez, Benito Santos and Custo Barcelona are some of those whose exclusive collections will be showcased on the runway.
MIAFW will go from May 30 to Sunday, June 3rd and will be held at three different locations: Brickell City Centre, Alfred DuPont Building, and Ice Palace Film Studio.
