A U.S. Post Office in Doral was evacuated early Thursday after the contents of a package began leaking a hazardous liquid, officials said.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. at the post office located at 11698 Northwest 25th Street.
Officials said it didn't appear that the package was sent to harm anyone, but that it just happened to break open.
One worker was seen being taken to the hospital and another 10 people were treated at the scene.
The employees were later allowed back into the post office. No other details were released.
