Doral's Boil Water Order Lifted, NW 41st Street Reopens

A Precautionary Boil Water Order has been lifted in Doral over the water main break that shut down Northwest 41st Street, which reopened Sunday evening, according to the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department.

"Residents no longer need to boil the water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice or washing dishes," the agency, also known as WASD, said in a statement.

Water service was restored in the area on Wednesday along areas near Northwest 41st Street, where the water main break occurred Monday afternoon just east of Florida's Turnpike.

WASD said Northwest 41st Street reopened Sunday evening.

WASD said a contractor working in the Doral area struck a 24-inch water pipe.
