Driver Crashes Into Allapattah Home After Alleged Dispute

Miami Police are investigating how one vehicle ended up crashing into a home following a heated dispute between two drivers.

An SUV plowed through the front of a Miami home, leaving not only the outside structure damaged, but also the living room inside.

Elbia Aguirre says the sound of a loud explosion woke her up around 6 a.m., however, when she went to open the front door she couldn't.

According to witness Juwan Smith, this all started blocks away on NW 36th street and 10th Avenue after 2 men had an altercation outside of their cars. The incident then escalated on the road.

"It's just ridiculous," said Smith. "Two people just going after eachother, and hitting eachother with sticks and metal rods and chasing eachother, trying to run eachother over and just going crazy."

Miami Police confirm one vehicle lost control and hit a house. The occupant fled from the car, but an unknown person found injured behind the house denied he was the driver. It is unclear what happened to the other vehicle involved.

There is no further info at this time as far as the other vehicle involved. One person was transported to the hospital, another man says he was struck by the red SUV.
