A man was killed after speeding and crashing his car into a Coral Springs canal Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

According to Coral Springs Police, the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed, blew through a cement barricade and crashed into a canal.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old James M. Singh of Margate, was pronounced dead at the scene after being removed from the vehicle.
No other injuries were reported.
