Normal 0 Police are looking for the driver who they say hit a Broward Sheriff's Office prisoner bus then fled the scene early Wednesday.
The hit and run happened around 5:30 a.m. when an orange Dodge hit the inmate transport bus near I-95 and Broward Boulevard, police said.
No injuries were reported and the 45 prisoners on the bus continued on to the jail.
Police put out a search for the vehicle and it was located shortly after in the area of Northwest 4th Street and 27th Avenue, not far from the Public Safety Building.
BSO detectives are still investigating the incident and looking for the car's driver.
