Driver Identified, Cited After Hitting Elderly Toll Booth Worker on Florida Bridge

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say they have located a woman who was seen on camera hitting an elderly toll booth worker before getting on to a bridge in the Tampa Bay area.

NBC affiliate WFLA-TV says officials identified 26-year-old Brittnie Kenyon as the person behind the wheel Sunday afternoon when she hit the 80-year-old woman as she was crossing a pedestrian crosswalk before continuing to go southbound on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

Kenyon was found Monday and cited for driving with a suspended license and failing to provide information at a crash scene.

The worker, Elaine Wyman, was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. She told the station she is doing well and plans to return to work this week.
