Two people waiting at a bus stop were hit by a pickup truck before the driver slammed into a light pole in Oakland Park.
The crash happened around 1:50 p.m. on East Commercial Boulevard and caused some traffic delays between North Dixie Highway and 15th Avenue.
The two people hit suffered non life-threatening injuries and were rushed to Broward Health North, Broward Sheriff's Office said.
A bus stop bench was toppled and a motorized wheelchair appeared mangled at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on scene as police investigated the crash.
