Dwyane Wade may be retired, but the former Miami Heat star and iconic NBA player is still the MVP of South Florida – especially among the employees of his former team.
About a week after playing in his final NBA game, Wade stopped by the American Airlines Arena to sign autographs for every Heat employee, according to a post on his Instagram page. The athlete also took photos with every worker during the impromptu visit as a “final farewell.”
Employees showed their appreciation for Wade’s gesture on social media, calling him a “class act” and promising that his #L3GACY wouldn’t be forgotten.
