All eastbound lanes of the Julia Tuttle Causeway were closed Friday morning after a multi-vehicle crash.
The crash took place near Biscayne Boulevard just before 6:30 a.m. involving as many as five vehicles.
Police have not released information on injuries at this time.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area for much of the morning rush hour.

Lanes were cleared and reopened to traffic just after 8 a.m.
