An elderly man in his 80s was stabbed by his son in Fort Lauderdale Monday night, police said.
The stabbing occurred at 1000 SE 4th St. at about 8:20 p.m., with the father taken to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition, Fort Lauderdale Police spokeswoman Deanna Greenlaw said.
The son, who is in his 50s, was taken into custody, she said.
