Surveillance video showed the rollover, chain-reaction crash left a bicyclist dead and two others injured Friday night in Davie.
The 4200 block of Davie Road was shut down in both directions after a vehicle struck a bicyclist, the Davie Police Department.
"That vehicle struck and killed the bicyclist continued northbound, struck another vehicle, a pickup truck from the rear, flipping that vehicle," said Sgt. Mark Leon of the Davie Police Department.
The bicyclist, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The drivers in both vehicles were transported to the hospital.
"One of the witnesses that saw the driver that hit the bicyclist stayed on scene with the driver," Leon said. "Whether he was trying to flee is under investigation."
Police said they're investigating whether excessive speed or impairment were factors in the crash.
