The FBI is asking for the public’s help in finding the man caught on camera allegedly robbing four banks in Fort Lauderdale in a six week span – including robbing the same bank twice.

Officials say the man robbed the banks – two at the BB&T and Tropical Federal Credit Union branches off Federal Highway and two at the Bank United branch off Sunrise Boulevard – starting on April 23rd and ending on June 7th.

Investigators have labeled the robber as the “Tie Dyed Bandit” because they believe he set off a dye pack from at least one of the robberies in his getaway vehicle, described as a four door Toyota Camera between the years of 2003 and 2008 with damage to the right rear bumper.

The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
