A Central Florida woman will not face any felony charges after she admitted to breaking into the home of her estranged husband and taking his guns before turning them into police.
NBC affiliate WFLA-TV reported that the State Attorney’s office in Polk County will not pursue those charges against Courtney Irby, who was arrested in June after the break-in at the home of Joseph Irby.
State Attorney Brian Haas said during a Wednesday press conference that Courtney Irby will not face a misdemeanor trespassing charge.
Irby’s arrest came as the couple is going through a divorce, with Joseph Irby having been arrested in June on charges of domestic aggravated battery after he allegedly rammed his car into his wife’s vehicle outside of a courthouse.

Haas said that she, along with several friends, also went into the home and took other items as well that included watches, cameras and possibly a computer.
