FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers Remain Open Across South Florida After Irma

As some South Florida residents continue searching for help in the recovery from Hurricane Irma, FEMA officials are reminding everyone that Disaster Recovery Centers remain open across the area.

The centers, which allow residents to get answers to their questions and update registration with the agency as well as small business owners a chance to apply for recovery loans, started opening in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties before expanding as the month went on.

Below is a list of locations open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for residents to visit:

Broward County

Atrium West (7771 W. Oakland Park Boulevard, Sunrise, FL 33351)

Miami-Dade County

Miami Dade College - Kendall Campus Building K (11011 SW 104th Street, Miami, FL 33176)

Monroe County

Islamorada Fire Station 2nd Floor (81850 Overseas Highway, Islamorada, FL 33036)

Marathon Park (3911 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL 33050)

Big Pine Community Park (31009 Atlantic Drive, Big Pine Key, FL 33043)

Key West Fire Station #2 (616 Simonton Street, Key West, FL 33435)

FEMA officials say hours of availability could be reduced in the future depending on need.
