First Half of 2017 Brings Record-Setting Temperatures To Miami

If you feel like it’s been hotter than usual in Miami this summer, you’re not wrong. Summer temperatures are following the latest trend.

The first six months of 2017 have been the hottest of any half year on record in Miami since 1895.

There were 24 days with low temperatures in the 80s, the most ever recorded.

For 41 straight days, temperatures were in the 90s, the second-longest streak to be documented. July proved to be the hottest month ever in Miami, with average temperatures reaching 85.7 degrees.
