Florida Man Arrested for DUI Does Cartwheel During Sobriety Test

The arrest of 30-year-old Christopher Bidzinski, of Cape Coral, was captured on an officer's body camera

A Florida man who was caught on camera doing a cartwheel for officers during a sobriety test after he was allegedly found passed out behind the wheel in a McDonald's drive-thru is facing a DUI charge.

The arrest of 30-year-old Christopher Bidzinski, of Cape Coral, was captured on an officer's body camera, NBC 2 reported.

"Take me to jail. I beg of you. I deserve to go to jail," Bidzinski told the officers after admitting he had been drinking chardonnay, police said.

Bidzinski, who was found slumped over the wheel of his car by a McDonald's employee, wanted to know if he could eat more french fries when officers asked him to do a field sobriety test.

When he eventually agreed to do the test, officers said Bidzinski couldn't stay focused.

"I'll bet you I can do a backflip right now," Bidzinski said, before he did the cartwheel and fell to the ground.

Police said Bidzinski failed the field sobriety test and refused a breathalyzer, so he was arrested. Inside his truck, officers found a chilled unopened bottle of wine.

Officials said Bidzinski fell asleep as he was driven to jail, and the smell of alcohol engulfed the police car. Officers said they knew Bidzinski from an incident the night before when they had to take him home.

Bidzinski remained behind bars on $20,000 bond Wednesday, and attorney information wasn't available. Records showed it's his third DUI arrest in the last three years.
