Florida Man Buys 100 Generators To Send To The Bahamas

A good deed never goes unnoticed, especially when it goes viral.

On Wednesday, a photo was posted online that showed a Florida man purchasing more than 100 generators and food to send to the Bahamas.

Alex Sprague, of Jacksonville, posted on Facebook that he was shopping at Costco when he noticed the man purchasing more than 100 generators.

"All I could do was shake his hand and thank him! There still are good people in the world" Sprague wrote on the post, which has been shared more than 33,000 times and has received more than 3,500 comments.

Sprague went on to write that each generator was valued at $450 apiece.

The man who bought the generators told CNN that he wished to remain anonymous and that all the generators were being sent to the Bahamas.

At least 20 deaths on Abaco and Grand Bahama islands have been blamed on Hurricane Dorian since it made landfall on the Bahamas as a Category 5 hurricane with 185 mph winds on Sunday and stalled there for about two days.
