A Florida man was charged with battery after he pulled his girlfriend's hair, kicked her down the stairs and slapped her in the face with a cheeseburger, sheriff's deputies said.
Martin County Sheriff's deputies said 30-year-old Kyle Jamison Jones attacked his live-in girlfriend when things between them didn't go his way.
Jones allegedly woke her up by slapping her with the burger and attacked her as they went down the stairs.
When deputies arrived, the victim was upset and covered with cheeseburger particles, authorities said.
Jones would only say the two got into a verbal dispute, but refused to say whether he got physical with the victim.
He was charged with battery and taken to Martin County jail, deputies said.
