Florida State University Football Players Report Vandalism

Several Florida State University football players and employees found their cars vandalized when they returned to Tallahassee after their loss 59-20 loss to Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

The Tallahassee Democrat reported on Saturday that cars belonging to the players and employees were discovered with slashed tires and key scratches to the paint late Friday.

Jim Russell, a spokesman for the FSU Police Department, told the newspaper that two police reports were filed and that police had information about damage to other cars. Russell said it is not clear if the incidents are related to the team's loss in the Rose Bowl.

FSU linebacker Anthony Valdes tweeted about the incidents Friday night.

"People actually keyed our cars and slashed our tires," Valdes wrote. "(Shake my head) go 29-0 but lose one game and people don't know how to act."

He said an investigation is ongoing.
