A former South Florida teacher on probation for trying to have sex with a young girl was arrested this week – for allegedly trying to do the same thing.
NBC affiliate WPTV-TV reports that Todd Bush was arrested Thursday near Orlando for allegedly trying to set up an agreement to have sex with what he thought was a 10-year-old girl.
According to the station, an informant called the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to say that Bush told her he was looking for that arrangement. An undercover deputy, set up as the mother of a child, contacted Bush and he agreed to pay $100 for a hour of sex with the child.
Bush, a former teacher at Lake Worth High School, agreed to meet the child and was later placed under arrest.
He had previously been arrested in 2011 for trying to arrange sex with a 12-year-old girl in Palm Beach County, having served five years in prison and was sentenced to another five years of probation.
