A former band director at a Southwest Florida high school asked students to send him nude photos, according to documents from a case against him over child porn.
NBC afillette WBBH-TV reports that documents from the Lee County School District and deputies from the sheriff’s office show that Warren Baxter asked students at Estero High School to send him the photos in exchange for money.
A report in June of 2018 says the 35-year-old teacher asked the then 17-year-old male student for naked photos while a separate report was filed just one week before after the mother of another student also reported the teacher.
Last July, Baxter admitting to downloading and saving child porn on several electronic devices in his home, including a cell phone and laptop computer, during a search of his home.
He resigned from his school position shortly afterward.
