Former Volunteer High School Hockey Coach Facing Child Porn Charges: BSO

Nicholas Gullman, who had been a volunteer ice hockey coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, was arrested Wednesday

A former volunteer hockey coach at a South Florida high school is facing multiple child pornography charges after authorities said they found dozens of lewd images in his possession.

Nicholas Gullman, who had been a volunteer ice hockey coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, was arrested Wednesday on 20 separate child pornography charges, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

Gullman, 32, stopped working at the school in early 2018, but detectives are concerned that there may be local victims.

The investigation into Gullman, of Lauderhill, began in January after an internet service provider gave information that he was uploading images of child pornography, officials said. Detectives identified 50 images of boys who appear to be between the ages of 10 and 14 in lewd poses or engaged in sexual acts, officials said.

A number of other images showed young males in the nude, officials said. Some images, which appeared to have been secretly recorded, showed teen boys in a locker room in various stages of undress, authorities said.

Gullman was being held on $150,000 bond Thursday, Broward jail records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.

Anyone who believes they are a victim or has any information is asked to call BSO detectives at 954-888-5239.
