Multi-Car Crash in Fort Lauderdale Injures 5, Including BSO Deputy

Several people, including a Broward County Sheriff's deputy, were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Fort Lauderdale.

The crash happened at around 8:30 p.m. in the 700 block of South Andrews Avenue, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue.

It involved three cars, with one rolled over, fire authorities said. Five people were treated for injuries and three were transported to the hospital.

Police confirmed at BSO deputy along with an arrestee were involved in the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Authorities say there were no serious injuries.
