Fort Lauderdale Police have arrested a man they say kidnapped and sexually assaulted a teen boy last August, an assault that occurred while the suspect was dressed as a woman.

Officers say they've arrested 36-year-old Javoris Phillips, who investigators say used a gun to threaten the 14-year-old boy who was walking home from a friend’s house near Northwest 15th Way on August 6th.

Phillips allegedly punched the teen in the face and tied the victim’s hands, according to a police report, before eventually pulling the teen’s pants down and beginning to perform oral sex. Eventually, the victim screamed and Phillips fled the scene in their vehicle while the victim ran home and his parents notified police.

Through DNA testing and interviews, police discovered Phillips’ involvement in the crime – discovering he went by several different aliases, including Aceiyana Phillips, on social media, officials said.

In court, Phillips was ordered held without bond on kidnapping and lewd or lascivious battery charges.
