Four Teens Arrested After Alleged Hialeah Pharmacy Robberies

Four Hialeah teens were caught for allegedly stealing morphine and oxycodone from two different stores in the past week, police said.

Raul Ponce, 18, his underage brother and twins Jonluis and Joanky Labadie, also 18, were arrested early Saturday morning after leading police on a chase. Officers chased the teens after they allegedly robbed a CVS store.

The four teens were also connected to a robbery at a Walgreens in Hialeah two days before. During Monday's bond court hearing, prosecutors said they are part of a alrge organizd crime ring targeting drug stores.

"I believe there were excess of 50 these burglaries that were committed at least by the organization if not these defendants," the prosecutor said.

Surveillance video from several Walgreen's stores in Hialeah show the suspects wearing ski masks during the crime spree, police said.

The Labadie brothers were out on bond on unrelated charges. Detectives said the twins were cooperating in the investigation.

All four are facing multiple charges, including burglary, resisting arrest and numerous counts for drug possession. They were ordered held on $2 million bond each.

If convicted, the teens could face life in prison.
