Celebrate Independence Day with free events throughout Miami-Dade and Broward

The Fourth of July sparks celebrations throughout the nation, but here’s how South Florida is celebrating this Thursday.

Miami-Dade

Freedom Festival & Fireworks Show

Head over to Miccosukee Resort & Gaming for a free concert by Grammy award winner LeAnn Rimes and local folk singer Keith Johns. Live music performances begin at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks show is at 9 p.m.

America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park

Enjoy a free fireworks show with plenty of food and beverages. Park open all day but events begin at 3 p.m.

Coconut Grove Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks

Expect a free fireworks show and live performances by Yoli Mayer and Soulixer. There will be classic BBQ grub available for purchase. Don’t forget your lawn chair!

Miami Beach Fire on the Fourth Festival

Fourth of July Celebration at Bayside

Join the City of Deerfield Beach for music and arts & crafts vendors and food.

Fourth of July at Gulfstream Park

Gulfstream Park will host a DJ and giveaways before fireworks at 9 p.m.

Star-Spangled Spectacular

The City of Hollywood will have music, food and fireworks along the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. From 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. there will be musical performances featuring the 13th Army Band and the Florida National Guard.

The City of Margate’s 4th of July Extravaganza

Parade begins at 9 a.m., followed by a pool party at Calypso Cove from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a live band and food trucks from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Miramar 4th of July Celebration

Fireworks, family fun, and food! Join the city of Miramar for its annual celebration.

City of Plantation and Rick Case Automotive Group Celebration

Parade at 9 a.m. at West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 46th Avenue. Route ends at Plantation City Hall. There will be a Kid’s Zone, concerts and fireworks at the Plantation Central Park Ball Fields.
