Frost School of Music Hosts Relief Concert for Dorian Survivors

The concert is free, but donations are welcomed

It has been nearly three weeks since Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas. And while the relief efforts have been overwhelming, there is still plenty of work to be done.

That is why this weekend the Frost School of Music is chipping in with a benefit concert at Gusman Hall.

The concert is free, but donations are welcomed in order to help Dorian survivors like Quita Farrington.

She and her family were on Treasure Key when the storm hit. They were able to take refuge in a cousin's home, but the aftermath was total destruction.

"There's nothing there. There's absolutely nothing there," Farrington says.

Farrington is currently living with her daughter and family in Nassau - trying to figure out what to do next.

The benefit concert will take place September 28th at 7:30PM.
