Full Closures on I-75 Southbound Scheduled to Begin Tuesday

The Florida Department of Transportation is scheduled to close all southbound lanes along I-75 at Pines Boulevard, beginning Tuesday night.

The closures will allow crews to set overhead beams for the new Pembroke Road Bridge.

Traffic will be detoured during the following dates and times:

  • All lanes of I-75 southbound at Pines Boulevard will be closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
  • The closure scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 7 has been postponed for Thursday, Oct. 8 from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Motorists on I-75 southbound can exit at Pines Boulevard West (Exit 9B), continue west on Pines Boulevard to Dykes Road, south on Dykes Road to Miramar Parkway and east on Miramar Parkway to re-enter I-75 southbound.

Motorists will also be able to take the exit ramp at Pines Boulevard East (Exit 9A), continue eastbound to Southwest 145th Avenue, then south on Southwest 145th Avenue to Miramar Parkway and west on Miramar Parkway to re-enter I-75.

FDOT said this schedule may change due to inclement weather or other unexpected conditions.
