Police say a 13-year-old girl who went missing from Sunny Isles Beach on Thursday was found Friday night.
The 13-year-old had last been seen around 8:25 a.m. Thursday morning at the intersection of 182nd Drive and Atlantic Boulevard. Her family said earlier in the day that they were “terrified” and begged her to come home.
The girl was found on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach Friday after someone saw her picture in the local media.
Police said the details surrounding the girl’s disappearance are still under investigation.
