A 6-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital Friday after she was found floating in a pool at a Pompano Beach apartment complex.
Pompano Beach Fire Rescue officials said the girl was found in the pool at the complex in the 900 block of Southwest 10th Drive around 2:30 p.m.
The girl was in the pool with her 23-year-old sister and other children when the sister found her floating and pulled her out of the water, officials said.
Fire rescue workers responded and rushed the girl to nearby Holy Cross Hospital where she was in critical condition.
Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating the incident.
