A man was hospitalized after he was shot outside a northwest Miami-Dade store Tuesday.
The incident happened outside the Yellow Meat Market in the area of Northwest 79th Street and 10th Avenue.
Police said the suspect approached and opened fire on a group of people, hitting the man in the groin. The victim was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center as a trauma alert.
The suspect got into a green Volvo and fled the scene.
Police haven't released the identity of the 36-year-old victim.
No other information was immediately known.
