Florida Republican Party Chairman Jim Greer, who originally said he would not be letting his children watch President Obama's speech to schoolchildren today, has done a 180.
"After reading the text, seeing the Department of Education have told teachers they are not to lead students in the direction that they would have a week ago," Greer said, "my kids will be watching the president's speech, as I hope all kids will.
"I don't advocate children not watching this president's speech with this text," Greer added, careful not to actually advocate watching the speech, which advocates working and training hard for a good job is the way to go, not dropping out.
Greer originally stated that he was appalled that taxpayer dollars were going toward the spreading of Obama's "socialist ideology."
