Robbery Suspect Shows a Little Too Much Face

Surveillance tape shows a suspected crook using a credit card from a car stolen hours earlier

Plantation Police know exactly what the suspect who they say used a credit card swiped from a series of vandalized cars on November 30th looks like.

The gas station surveillance tape is stunning. It is clear, in color and police have 19 minutes of the suspected crook in action. The credit card was used just hours after a car was stolen and other cars were vandalized within the exclusive walled-in, high-security Hawks Landing development in the heart of Plantation.

Residents are concerned that their security company did not nab the suspect or suspects, saying that several well-known people bought in the location because of the promised security.

The video shows a very calm and collected "person of interest" wearing a white shirt, plaid shorts, appears to be in his 20s, cropped hair, medium build. He enters and leaves the gas station convenience store several times, buys a gas can, scores some cash, chats up another female customer and then disappears into the night driving a silver Ford pickup truck with black and silver custom wheels.

Know the guy? The cops would like to talk to him. Call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
