What to Know

In the spirit of the Christmas holiday, a Treasure Coast couple named Mary and Joseph gave a much needed gift to a young mother who is currently homeless.

That couple – Mary Nash and Joseph Zingo of Stuart – donated a 2003 Hyundai SUV to Ashley Harrison, who gave birth to her baby boy six weeks ago and has been living at a shelter in the area for the last two months.

"This is the best blessing of my entire life," Harrison told NBC affiliate WPTV.

“We've been so blessed with everything," said Nash. "We just wanted to do something nice for someone. I really didn’t think it was that big of a deal."

The couple also paid the registration for the car for Harrison and her son, who she named Hendrix.
