Hollywood Police Seek to Identify Armed Robbery Suspects

The Hollywood Police Department is requesting the public's help in identifying 2 suspects who committed an armed robbery and used the victim's credit cards at a local Walmart, according to a public records release.

A little past midnight on Friday night, around 12:50 a.m., two suspects approached a couple on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk and snatched the female's purse, according to police. They held a gun to the man's head and demanded his wallet.

The suspects then fled in a black sedan, and they were later caught on surveillance video purchasing items at a local Walmart with one of the stolen credit cards.

One suspect was described as a black, 6-foot male wearing a Chicago Bulls Jersey. The other was described as a black, 5-foot female wearing a light-colored tank top, blue shorts and a head wrap.
