A suspect who barricaded himself inside a room at a Hollywood motel surrendered to police Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at a Budget Inn on N. Federal Highway. Footage showed officers surrounding the motel before the suspect surrendered.
The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Glenn Shelton.
South Broward High School at 1901 N. Federal Highway was on a precautionary lockdown as a result of the incident, Hollywood Police said.
Police didn't say why Shelton was being sought. No other information was immediately known.
