A man from Honduras wanted for a violent rape in California was arrested at Miami International Airport, authorities said Tuesday.
The 27-year-old man was identified after he presented himself to Customs and Border Protection officers for inspection on July 26.
After fingerprinting the man to confirm his identity, officers found he had an outstanding warrant in Santa Barbara County, officials said.
The man, whose name wasn't released, was turned over to Miami-Dade Police for extradition to California.
