Sheriff's officials say someone clearing brush in Oak Hill found part of a human skull.
The discovery was made Monday evening in the community near Daytona Beach.
Volusia County Sheriff's spokesman Gary Davidson says crime scene technicians are searching the area for other remains. He says the skull appears to have been there for some time.
