Humane Society of Broward County Offering Discounted Pet Adoptions to Ring in ‘Dogust'

If you or your family is looking for a new furry friend to give a forever home to, the Humane Society of Broward County is ringing in the month of ‘Dogust’ with savings to help convince you to make that move.

Starting Thursday and running through Sunday, the organization is offering half off prices for any adoptions of pets six months or older – while offering free adoptions for some special “summertime sweeties” over the period.

All animals, when adopted, will receive their preliminary vaccinations as well as other perks – including a microchip, de-worming, flea and tick treatment as well as 30 days of pet insurance, a free bag of pet food and more.

The facility, located one block west of I-95 on Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale, is open starting at 10:30 a.m. each day and closes at 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, click on this link or call 954-989-3977.
