ICYMI: FHP Trooper Struck; Raccoon Hanging Out

Here are some of last week's top stories from the NBC 6 Weekend Digest:

Raccoon Spotted Hanging Out of Car Window on Florida Road

It’s quite common to see a happy dog hanging its head out of a car window enjoying the Florida breeze, but what about a raccoon?

A video taken by a mother and daughter during a car ride shows a raccoon sitting in the lap of a driver and poking its head out of a car window riding next to them on a road in Citrus County.

The video was shared on Facebook and eventually made its way back to the raccoon’s owner.

South Florida Lacrosse Player Fights Suspension From Field

Luther Johnson V, or LJV, has been playing sports for as long as he can remember -- he's even caught the eye of Ivy League schools not only for athletics, but for academics as well.

Luther's mother, Antonette Johnson, said her son keeps a 4.0 GPA and has never been disciplined on or off the field -- until recently.

"For me to not step on the field with my brothers every day, it hurts me every day," the Christopher Columbus High School student said.

The Florida High School Athletics Association suspended Luther twice for what coaches and referees called "unsportsmanlike" behavior on the field.

He was suspended for five weeks after a game against Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and on the first day back from that suspension, he was ejected again for a play against Belen Jesuit Prepatory.

Luther and his family are now trying to fight that suspension.

There May Be More Than You Realize in Amazon Reviews

Amazon shoppers: You're going to want to hear this, especially if you rely on reviews when considering whether to buy something.

Many shoppers rely on those reviews, but according to an NBC I-Team investigation, you may need to look closer at them.

Deena Wozniak says her Goldendoodle Charlie is the center of attention in her household.

"He is spoiled. He gets anything and everything," she said.

Charlie's a playful pup. But when he was younger, he was a barker, so his pup parent Deena bought an anti-barking device from Amazon. She says she chose it because it had a good review, with a four-star rating.

But she said the device was a bust.
