‘Just Help Us': Family Pleads for Justice After Fatal Shooting of Miami Woman

What to Know

  • Officials say 27-year-old Briana Paschal was the victim of a fatal shooting after a car accident on her way to work.

A Miami-Dade family is pleading for justice in the February murder of their daughter after an investigation from Miami Police was launched.

Officials say 27-year-old Briana Paschal was the victim of a fatal shooting after a car crash on her way to work at the intersection of NW 3rd Avenue and 14th Terrace, saying she was rear-ended and got out of her car to check for damages.

At that point, the driver of the other car involved fatally shot Paschal, who was an art merchandiser for Wenworth Galleries and graduated from Florida A&M University, as she walked out.

The family led an emotional plea for answers to their daughter’s murder.

"See our hurt, feel our pain," said Lynda Roberts, Paschal’s aunt.

Detectives ask that tips about the crime be sent to Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
