The Key Largo Stone Crab & Seafood Festival kicks off this weekend.
According to the event's website, the festival, which runs Jan. 28-29, will have cooking and fishing demonstrations, key lime pie and shrimp eating contests, a car and magic show, and lots of delicious, fresh, local seafood.
Other family fun activities are arts and crafts, face painting, and a little mermaid contest, among other things.
The event will be held at Rowell's Marina on mile marker 104.5 bayside from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $5 per adult and free for children age 12 and under.
