To celebrate its 80th birthday, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is offering its customers a sweet deal.
On Friday, July 14, guests will be able to receive a dozen original glazed doughnuts for 80 cents with the purchase of any dozen at regular menu price. The deal is available at participating stores in the United States and Canada.
The offer is only valid at participating Krispy Kreme Doughnut shops. Convenience stores that sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts are not included in the deal.
The July 14 date is significant because it’s the day after the popular doughnut shop opened its doors for the first time in 1937.
“It’s remarkable that for 80 years, Krispy Kreme’s commitment to delivering world-class doughnuts the Krispy Kreme way – hot, fresh and now – has not changed,” said Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme, in a news release.
